Just a girl in the kitchen…
I started baking by myself when I was nine years old. I would make marble cakes on such a regular basis that my family got sick of them. For me there was an art to folding in the cocoa to create the marble effect. That feeling still is with me to this day. I am an author, blogger and baker, all wrapped up in one. As a busy mom of three (almost) grown children who works full-time, I have very little time to myself. But my happy place is and always will be getting the consistency of a dough just right or pulling out a coffee cake out of the oven at just the right moment knowing that it is going to be perfect! I’m a self-taught baker who uses every day ingredients and tools. Nothing fancy. If I can do it, then you can too!
